Bio:
I’m Lizzie. I come from a small town in Mid-Missouri and moved to the Denver area in 2014 and very quickly fell in love with this city. I’ve been behind the chair for 5 years, and it is truly my passion. I’ve wanted to be a hairstylist since I was a little girl (my mom knew it too when I cut the hair off a very expensive “My size Barbie”).
Coming from a small town, it felt like the only way out was to go to college. So that’s exactly what I did, and I majored in Cellular and Molecular Biology. It’s something I do find extremely interesting, and something I use a TON doing hair, but it’s not where my passion was.
Fast forward through 2 cities and 3 beauty school campuses, and I became licensed in Colorado. I started out at a high volume blow-dry only salon where I quickly got introduced to all hair types and textures. Then I moved through an apprenticeship, and ultimately became a stylist at an up-scale salon, and I stayed there for 4 years. I honed my craft, especially creative colors, blondes, and cutting thick/long/coarse hair. I regularly take classes to continue to perfect my techniques and formulas.
In my free time I like to rock climb, make music, and fight for social justice. I have an amazing partner, David, and two cute kitties.
My chair is inclusive, nurturing, and it’s dedicated to making you feel great inside and out. My mission is not only to give you happy, healthy hair, but also to lend an ear and build a lasting relationship. I strive to be the hairstylist that you can trust. I care about your hair and I care about YOU.
